beCordial Hotels & Resorts, new official sponsor of CELTIC Football Club women's team

- The Gran Canaria hotel chain continues to consolidate its commitment to sports, not only at a local level as a sponsor of teams such as UD Las Palmas, elite island athletes such as Tara Pacheco or Antonio Müller or sporting events such as the race Be Cordial Sky Gran Canaria Škoda or the Gran Canaria Pro-Am SUP Surf World Cup, but now also on an international scene.

beCordial Hotels & Resort becomes, through this agreement, the new official sponsor of CELTIC Football Club women's team for the next three years. As part of this agreement, the chain logo will be incorporated onto the team strip and beCordial Hotels & Resort will host the Scottish women's team preseason stage on Gran Canaria in January 2020. During this preseason stage, the International Women's Football Tournament beCordial-Mogán on the Arguineguín football field will be held and Celtic will face local women's teams.
This is not the first sports sponsorship for hotel chain beCordial Hotels & Resorts. It has been linked in recent years to local sport by sponsoring Canarian sports teams such as UD Las Palmas, the Canarian Series Triathlon Championship, the Fermarguin Women's Football Team, El Tablero Rhythmic Gymnastics and supporting Canarian elite athletes Tara Pacheco and Antonio Müller.
"Through our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy we have opted for sports practice, with sponsorships for clubs and entities that promote shared values such as commitment, respect and teamwork and that encourage grassroots sports," explained Nicolás Villalobos, general director of the chain. "Now we want to go one step further into international sport at the hands of CELTIC FC, an internationally known team and Scotland, a market with many possibilities."

In addition, in relation to the International Women's Football Tournament beCordial-Mogán, the director general stated “With this sponsorship we seek to continue contributing to the socio-economic development of Mogán and positively influence the local community as we have been doing since our beginnings”.
