This initiative reinforces Cordial Hotels & Resorts' commitment to supporting projects that enrich the tourist offering with a focus on responsibility towards the Canary Islands as a destination.
The hotel chain Cordial Hotels & Resorts, as part of its dedication to the Canary Islands, has hosted the inauguration of a new “La Molina” space at the Perchel Beach Club and the Cordial Santa Águeda Resort. This innovative project brings together local craftsmanship, primary sector products from the Canary Islands, and fashion from renowned Canarian designers.
The space is notable for its sustainable furniture, created using 3D printing with banana fibre by the company Fibras Naturales, and it pays homage to Canarian identity. "La Molina is a celebration of what I believe to be our greatest treasure: our traditions, flavours, and artisan crafts. This is the best we can offer visitors and the finest gift we can give ourselves," said David Hernández, founder of La Molina. He also expressed gratitude to institutions and Cordial Hotels & Resorts for their support over the years.
The new La Molina shop offers a carefully curated selection of Canarian products, from gourmet goods and crafts to exclusive pieces by designers such as Pedro Palmas, Aurelia Gil, Elena Morales, and Paula Delgado, establishing itself as a benchmark for local fashion and culture. "We want all our visitors to enjoy an authentic experience, connecting with the richness of our land through its flavours, traditions, and the talent of our designers. We already have a La Molina shop at the Cordial Mogán Playa Hotel, and this new opening strengthens our commitment to the economic and cultural development of the Canary Islands," explained Nicolás Villalobos, managing director of Cordial Hotels & Resorts.
The inauguration also welcomed the participation of the Councillor for Economic Development of the Gran Canaria Island Council, Minerva Alonso, who emphasised the importance of the project for sustainability and the promotion of local talent. "This demonstrates that this island is a place of creativity, beauty, and great opportunities," she added, thanking Perchel Beach Club and Cordial Hotels & Resorts for their continued support of initiatives such as Gran Canaria Moda Cálida.
