Just back from a superb week at the Cordial Mogan Solaz. We usually stay in the Cordial Playa hotel, but wanted the extra space an apartment gives while being able to use all the hotel facilities. We stayed in 1B, a two bed, two bathroom apartment. The apartment was a good size with a large veranda area and was kept spotlessly clean by the fabulous daily cleaner. The kitchen included bottled water, chocolate and tea and coffee, the latter topped up daily. The fridge had a complimentary bottle of fizz and bottles of orange juice, with a few bottles of red wine appearing over the course of the week. The apartment has access to an incredible solarium at the top of the building with amazing views, sunbeds, parasols, a shower and a hot tub. In addition, there are washing machines and dryers in the car park under the apartments for guest use. Although a little dated, the apartment was great, with comfy beds, great bathrooms and hot showers. There is air con in the main bedroom and a ceiling fan in the second bedroom. Being able to use all the facilities of the main hotel was great, but being able to enjoy the privacy of an apartment just above the hotel too made for a great holiday. We are looking forward to booking again.

Our travel agent recommended this resort and hotel for a break in February. It turned out to be exactly what we wanted and we are returning next year! The two bed two bathroom apartment was beautifully clean and beds were very comfortable! All the equipment was fab! The jacuzzi was amazing! We stayed half board and the food was incredible! We have had a beautiful week - thank you Cordial group! Can’t wait to come back next year!

We stayed for two very enjoyable weeks in June in a one-bedroom superior apartment and also made use of facilities in the adjoining Cordial Mogan Playa Hotel. Overall we were very happy with the Solaz and would happily return in the future. We booked directly with the hotel after joining ""Club Cordial"" and received the discount (6 nights for the price of 7). We were also able to pick the exact room we wanted on a map!! Why don't more hotels do this? The Cordial Mogan Solaz is made up of three small blocks of apartments attached to the Cordial Mogan Playa Hotel. Each block has 5-10 apartments, with one block on the grounds of the Cordial Mogan Playa Hotel and the other two blocks just across a very quiet street next door (literally seconds from the hotel grounds). As far as we could tell, the standard (not superior) one-bed apartments are in an older block a few doors up the street and we did not see what these were like. [...] After checking in, you can either walk through the hotel to the apartments or, if you have a car, drive around the hotel (and the whole town!!) to the apartments. Free, secure underground parking is available under the apartments and we found this very convenient. We stayed in a one-bedroom Superior apartment in a small block just across the side street from the back of the hotel. This is a small block of modern (ca. 2019) one- and two-bed superior apartments, each with a large sun terrace with private jacuzzi. The garage is in the basement and there is a lift to each floor. The private sun terrace for the one-bedroom superior apartments is on the roof of the one-bed superior apartments, which also have a large balcony off the living room and bedroom. [...] Our apartment was exceptionally clean and serviced every day, if required. The communal areas were also kept really clean. The apartment was modern, bright and very comfortable – perfect for a two-week stay for a couple. There was also a sofa bed in the living area. Overall it lived up to the impression from the hotel website and virtual tour. The kitchen had a hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave large fridge-freezer and several ways to make coffee and tea. (No oven but this was not a problem for us.) Overall, it was very well equipped for a holiday where you might mix eating in and eating out. We had breakfast most mornings in the hotel (with family who were staying in the Cordial Mogan Playa). Breakfast was not too busy (low season in June) and overall good with plenty of options. There are two large pools in the Cordial Modal Playa, which residents of the Mogan Solaz can use. We felt the pool nearest the Mogan Solaz apartments was the most comfortable, with more space around loungers and a more open air vibe. The larger pool bar/restaurant at the other pool near reception was better for lunch. Both pools had a gentle slope which might be important for guests with mobility issues. We found the hotel staff really friendly and welcoming. The Cordial Moral Playa grounds are very pleasant to spend time in, with lots of seating and quiet, shady areas, for example around the small chapel. [...] Would return to the Cordial Mogan Solaz without hesitation.

Wir hatten eine Fewo gebucht, die zum Hotel gehört. Eine super Ausstattung und ein sehr guter Service auch in der Fewo. Wir hatten Zutrittsrechte zum Hotel, nicht nur zum Frühstück, das mit gebucht war. 5 min Fußweg von der Fewo zum Hotel mit einer sehr gepflegten und tollen Anlage. Das Personal ist absolut hilfsbereit und freundlich. Beim Frühstück kann man die schönsten und seinem eigenen Geschmack entsprechende Sitzplätze auswählen. Das Angebot an Speisen und Getränken lässt keinen Wünsche offen.

We have stayed at the Cordial Mogan Playa many times. This year we tried the Cordial Solaz. We were not disappointed. The rooms were beautifully appointed and balcony was sunny and spacious. With just a few steps across a minor road and through a gate, we were back in the grounds of the hotel. We enjoyed the use of the hotel and spa with this super vacation accommodation. Service was excellent from housekeeping, reception, restaurant and maintenance. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Just returned from at 14 days stay at Solaz. I have been to the Cordial Mogan Playa Hotel three times before, and just love the garden - and the peace and quiet. The Solaz building our apt was in, was within the hotel grounds (the other building is across the street). It seemed new and modern, and it was very peaceful. It was great to have a safe parking garage for the rental car. We only had B&B, but enjoyed the breakfasts. There are a lot of choices. [...] We had lunch in the apartment every day, which was perfect with both fridge/freezer, dishwasher and good kitchen equipment. For a 14 days stay it was also perfect to have a washer/dryer. The people working at Cordial is very friendly and serviceminded. I will especially mention our housekeeper Aroa V. which was very thorough, hardworking and who really makes an effort to make her guests satisfied.

"Where to start! Having previously stayed at main hotel the Cordial Mogan Playa nearly ten years earlier and remembering how beautiful it was, I decided to book again for a family holiday with my partner and 7 year old daughter, it was then that I stumbled across the new Cordial Mogan Solaz adjoining the main hotel. We couldn’t have chosen any better. We stayed in Solaz 301, a stunning one bedroom superior self-catering apartment with a private roof terrace with hot tub. I’m the kind of guy that spends literally hours doing research before I book any holiday, we both work hard and needed to be sure that this was the place for us, we needn’t have worried. First of all I want to say a massive thank you to all the staff at the hotel they made our holiday, they are the most friendliest and happy staff. Fabrizio and Raymond and the rest of the bar staff made us feel like we were part of the cordial family. The apartment was lovely very clean and was a bonus with kids to have a fridge and washing machine we had our own hot tub, but we were on the hotel premises there was 5 of us so we had a duplex. We were 5 minutes away from the pool and the weather was blooming lovely. Half board was great

We loved the resort and the hotel

We loved the hotel,although we were in an adjacent apartment block, which was very modern, comfortable and secure with fantastic outside space and a great view. The hotel is very well located, very attractive, impeccably maintained and the staff are a pleasure to deal with. It is a relaxed environment and the gardens are spectacular. Take the horticulture tour if you stay, as you’ll find out about the stunning plants and trees. The breakfast, which was part of our deal, was plentiful with lots of choice. There were a lot of people staying over Christmas but the catering staff kept everything well stocked. There are two pools - one really for families and children and one a more relaxed, quiet pool.

I stayed here as a family of 5 and I couldn't be more impressed. Excellent food, lovely jacuzzi, lovely choice and standard and have and would recommend to my friend and family. The thing which makes me put the icing on top is the lovely choice of pools and jacuzzi if your staying in the solaz.2 lovely pools which are one of the best I have ever seen. Unser Apartment mit Garagenstellplatz lag außerhalb des Komplexes und war dadurch sehr ruhig, so wie wir es mögen. Der Hotelkomplex ist wie eine eigene kleine Stadt. Er verteilt sich derart, dass man nie das Gefühl von Enge hat. Außerdem ist er sehr schön bepflanzt. Wir hatten Zugang zu allen Angeboten des Hotels, incl. der Verpflegung. Wir hatten HP und waren damit sehr zufrieden. Getränke gibt es zum Frühstück alle gratis dazu am Abend kosten die Getränke extra. Die Preise sind aber wirklich sehr moderat. Kaffee konnten wir zusätzlich in unserem Apartment kochen. Die Kapseln wurden täglich nachgefüllt. Unsre Highlight war der Jacuzzi auf der zweiten Terrasse. Dort haben wir beim Sonnenuntergang den Tag ausklingen lassen.

We have previously stayed at the Cordial Mogan Playa hotel and the Mogan Valle Apartments so this year we booked a Mogan Playa Solaz Apartment, these are only a couple of years old and are very stylish, we had a one bedroom on level 3 which comprised a spacious kitchen with Bosch appliances & quartz worktops, lounge area, a nice bathroom with a walk in shower and a compact but functional bathroom. On the same level is a big terrace with table & chairs overlooking the valley with fabulous views out to sea. From the rear of the property a spiral staircase leads up to a great sun terrace with sun beds, shower and a 3 person hot tub, both terraces have concertina sun shades so you can enjoy the sun or the shade. [...]. These particular apartments are just across a minor road from the main hotel but we didn’t mind this as you can still use all the facilities and off road garage parking is provided too. There is a local Spar within easy walking distance with a good selection of UK brands at better prices than home! The hotel is as always a fabulous place with unbelievable gardens and 2 lovely pools, the evening entertainment isn’t up to much but we ventured out every night anyway. Hopefully should be re-booking for next year

This was also our first holiday abroad since lockdown. Stayed at the Solaz in a one bedroom apartment. Spotlessly clean and everything you could want and more. Loved the terrace with our own jacuzzi, sun beds, tables and chairs. Kitchen well equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Two swimming pools - one being quiet and plenty of sun beds. Very quiet area within a few minutes from beach, harbour, restaurants and shops. Staff were lovely too. Not too keen on the breakfast room as it was like being in a canteen or cruise ship - although lots of choice. Much preferred the smaller breakfast area but this is reserved for the suites apparently. Overall this was one of the most relaxing holidays we’ve had- we will return hopefully.

Impecablemente limpio y todo lo que puedas desear y más. Me encantó la terraza con nuestro propio jacuzzi, tumbonas, mesas y sillas. Cocina bien equipada con lavadora y secadora. Dos piscinas, una tranquila y con muchas tumbonas. Zona muy tranquila a pocos minutos de la playa, puerto, restaurantes y tiendas. El personal también fue encantador. [...] En general, esta fue una de las vacaciones más relajantes que hemos tenido, con suerte volveremos.

We have been coming to the Cordial Mogan Playa since it opened over 13 years ago. The hotel still looks brand new. Even in these worrying times you feel very safe. The hotel takes the virus very seriously without affecting your holiday. We are staying in the hotel’s new apartments- Cordial Mogan Solaz. They are stylish, modern and very high quality. You have full use of the main hotel’s facilities. A very special touch-a birthday cake, sweets and a personally signed birthday wish from the hotel manager for our son’s 11th birthday. A great holiday made even more special. If you are allowed to travel, come here! You won’t be disappointed! Thank you so much and see you again soon!

Sehr schöne, stilvolle und top ausgestattete Apartments! Setzt sich mit Zuschnitt der Räume, Einrichtung und Ausstattung von vgl. Angeboten ab. Parkhaus unter den Wohnungen. Gutes Frühstück und gutes Abendessen in der benachbarten Hotelanlage Cordial Mogan Playa. Guter Service und freundliches Personal. Fanden wir sehr angenehm, dass die Angebote des Hotels genutzt werden konnten, das Apartmenthaus aber außerhalb der Anlage ist. Eine ruhige Lage, alles fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir werden wieder kommen.

First of all, because they looked absolutely terrific & super comfortable and second, we just didn’t fit in the Mogan Plays family room anymore (2 adults, with 2 teenagers now counting as adults & a 5 year old).. The combination of the comfort of the Solaz apartments with the facilities of Mogan Playa is wonderful and suits us really well! Admittedly, not all facilities were open (yet), but we didn’t really miss the animation, kids club and bowling alley that much. In short; apartments really beautiful and comfortable. Good beds, nice showers. Enough space to relax inside and outside the apartment. And enough storage space. Also things like a washing machine and dishwasher make it such a pleasant place to stay. The jacuzzi is great of course! Very relaxed to have a drink in your own private jacuzzi. We had a 2 bathroom apartment, with 5 people the 2nd bathroom was really welcome! Food & drinks and swimming pools at Mogan Playa, what can I say: very good! Even new coffee machines at the restaurant with very decent coffee. The Playa hotel really made the best out of these lockdown months by doing several renovations at the restaurant, swimming pools and some of the toilet buildings at the pools. Well done! It looks very very nice. Staff seemed happy to be back at work and friendly as always.

Die Appartements Fertigstellung 2019 sind eine Oase für Familien. Whirlpool auf der sehr geräumigen Terrasse, freundlichstes Personal und ausgezeichnete Küche, lassen sie sich in der gepflegten und äußerst sauberen Umgebung verwöhnen.

El apartamento perfecto, cuenta con todas las necesidades básicas de sobra. Su jacuzzi y terrazas privada lo más para descansar y relajarse. El poder acceder a todas las instalaciones del hotel cordial mogan muy buena opción. Seguro que volveremos.

Having previously spent 3 separate holidays at the Cordial Mogan Playa hotel we opted for the new Solaz apartment on the grounds of the hotel and we weren’t disappointed. We are a family of 5 and the extra space was a big bonus. Everything was immaculately clean and new! We had all the amenities of the hotel as usual and everything was up to the usual high standard we have come to expect from this hotel. The private hot tub was lovely on our balcony. We will definitely be back again next year

Una maravilla para los sentidos

Nos hemos quedado muchas veces pero últimamente nos alojamos en el Cordial Solaz, una maravilla para los sentidos. una villa espectacular con todas las comodidades y lujos y jacuzzi privado en el jardín. La atención, la de siempre, inmejorable. Destacamos en especial a Sara, en recepción, a Juani ,en el restaurante de la casa azul y Mari Carmen, que prepara unos mojitos muy ricos. El Spa muy acogedor y los masajes muy buenos. Tambien destacamos la zona de ajedrez gigante que ha hecho la delicias de mis peques. Sin duda para seguir repitiendo.

Lo mejor, la atención del personal. Todos, desde recepción hasta las camareras de pisos, mantenimiento y personal de restaurantes, super amables y serviciales. Las instalaciones están muy cuidadas. Mucha vegetación. La comida también muy buena y variada.
