The Cordial Santa Águeda Resort was one of the main protagonists at the 3rd Miguel Martín-Fernández de La Torre Architecture Awards presented by the COAGC.
The aim of the Miguel Martín-Fernández de la Torre awards is to recognise the quality of architectural works and projects carried out in Gran Canaria in the following categories: new construction for other uses, refurbishment and restoration, interior design, new residential construction and urban design and landscaping.
It is precisely in these last two categories that the Cordial Santa Águeda Resort has been awarded a prize, thanks to the skill of architects Evelyn Alonso Rohner and José Antonio Sosa Díaz-Saavedra.
The "Residential New Construction" award for the project "a garden for each house", which rewards the building of 49 holiday homes, each of them with a small garden. The award highlights the spatial continuity of the reception area, coworking bar and restaurant and highlights the surprising collective swimming pool and solarium.
The category "Urban Design and Landscaping" for the "Pajar Park" located in the heart of the Cordial Santa Águeda Resort and embraced by the building which deserved the award for "New Residence".
The proud promoters of the Cordial Santa Águeda Resort, the hotel chain beCordial Hotels & Resorts, footballer David Silva and the del Castillo family, would like to congratulate the architects Evelyn Alonso and José Antonio Sosa for the achievement and their good work throughout the project.
